This morning I’m going to a Men’s breakfast social club “Talk”. Met some old guys like me at the local pub a coulple days ago and they invited me. I may be the only “Yank”. I didn’t mention I’m Italian and my family didn’t arrive in the USA until 1903.

The talk is about George Washington. Not sure how the “talk” is formatted but I’ll probably be the only “For”. Have to see how that plays out.

Good guys! We drank ale and agreed our generation was better and kids today suck. Everything about them sucks. Their taste in food, music, movies, recreational activities, well..... everything. We got along splendidly although they were a bit concerned about my not being able to out away the quantity of ale they could. I escaped banishment by lying and saying I was recovering from the flu.

While in the pub, 1pm, we talked and watched a cricket match during which they pretended to understand the rules.

Ok, here’s the good news: all of them, to a bloke, wants NE to lose. I love these guys. - JamesJM
