First, and again, I want to thank all of you for the replies.... Gavin appreciated it more than I express to you....this morning is final practice for Friday's game. Hard week for him... first week getting in some real practice at QB... hours upon hours of game film study. He took the week off from his normal routine... put his body and mind into one thing this week..."football".

A reprieve? We don't know... but maybe. Sean is going to play, (our starting QB who went down with the shoulder injury). He's still not able to throw, (pain). It's hour by hour and most likely it will be game kickoff before we know for sure. Gavin is ready, or at least, as ready as he can be.

I should note: Our chances of an actual 'win' are slim... even 100% healthy we're big underdogs. Normally I'd be a nervous wreck... thinking 'win'... but after this week and Gavin's situation I'm no longer concerned about a 'win', at all in fact. There are bigger things, bigger priorities... and a week that began with me considering it a nightmare... just may have turned out to be the best week of the year. Gavin rose to the occasion... whether he plays QB or not, mission accomplished. Thanks to all. - Jimmy
