I am always excited to see young people grow and develop using their talents and pushing and testing their limits.
Those courageous enough to try and to learn become greater and better versions of themselves just for trying.
My first attempt in HS track running the 330 lows I lead for the first 220 then I finished dead last.
I learned about pacing and stamina. I chose to work on stamina and I got better each week. I made it to the CIF-Semi Finals that year. Where I ran my personal best and drop a full point off my best time. I did not make it to the finals just missed it but interestingly enough I had the same experience in the 110 high hurdles except I did not consider it my best event and I made the finals in what was my weakest event shaving a whole point off my best in that event as well. I never did run in the Finals because I had a religious commitment for that event but my Dad was there and was proud of my effort and that meant so much more.
You have a proud family and Ram Fan family supporting you so just do your best.
