Hey, James, just read your post today. Write somethings to your grandson. Pardon my english. Here it goes:
Hey, Gavin, I was reading your history through your grandpa, and became very curious to know how are you feeling right now:
Maybe you're feeling worried, anxious and aprehensive, because contributing to your team's victory will bring acceptance, friendship and belonging. Not only from your friends, but also from your community and everyone who is watching the game. Maybe you're feeling like this because like to be chalenged and to realize things, right?
You're also in panic, fearful or shamefull? If so, maybe it's because of being watched by a lot of people, and not only by eyes you're used to. And that's ok! They're afraid and fragile too. All they want is to be joyfull and celebrating.
So that's what you're feeling?
I bet that your body is rigid and tense, maybe sensing some heavyness in your head and shoulders. Time to relax a bit. In order to function properly, our mind needs rest and time away from related things. Have some fun, do some things you love.
Not much else of advice here. I'm just a brasilian father who doesnt know much about football. Just want to tell that I'll be here after friday game, regardless of the result, if you wanna talk to. And I'm pretty sure that everyone you love will be too.
Have a good game, man.
