I do the same, more and more every year.

This Thanksgiving will be a bit different for me... we've always had a few 'guests' at Thanksgiving, other than family that is. Boyfriend and girlfriends come and go after all... some husbands and wives as well. This year we'll have a few football players - kids away from home and with no place to go for a 'family' Thanksgiving.

Mama, memorable moments huh? Yours is rather amazing... goof grief yes, Thanksgiving day of all days? Every few years Thanksgiving Day falls on my birthday - this is one of those years. So I won't be getting a 'cake'.... and I couldn't care less, what with the pumpkin and pecan pies.

So anyway..... having a birthday on a big Holiday is special. Especially Thanksgiving because it only comes around once a decade or so. - JamesJM
