or, it's kind of humorous.
Quick set up - My grandson has played QB every year he's played football. Starter. This year as a Soph he moved up to Varsity and is playing WR... backing up our starting QB. He only goes in at QB if our QB comes out for some reason. Maybe 6 snaps so far this year... 7 games.
So two weeks ago, on the first play from scrimmage, they throw him a lateral, the QB goes out on a slant and my grandson hits him with a pass for a 69 yd TD. So his stats, after that game, and the next, were 1 for 1 for 69yds and 1TD. He maxed the QB rating.
Ok, this last Friday... they give him the ball on a sweep left but it's going to be another pass... but he's under tremendous pressure and panics... tries to turn to get his shoulders square but doesn't have time... still gets some pretty good distance, about 40yds, but still 10yds short of the receiver and it's picked off.... in fact, it's a pick 6.
So as of today he's 1 for 2. 1 TD 1 Int. - and the pick 6? 69yds.
Every ball he's thrown this year ends up in the end zone.
You can't 'make this stuff up.
