many years ago I went thru the Interferon treatment for Hep C. It's like shots for diabetes in the way you inject them... you alternate from arm to arm, thigh to thigh.... but I remember one area they suggested was at or below the navel on your stomach. The idea of that did not appeal to me... so I resisted trying it until one day.. for no good reason, (maybe just my sense of adventure), I did try it and I was pleasantly surprised.... it was the least painful of all, (while allowing that no place is actually painful).
BUT.. I had a good supply of fat to cushion the blow, (so to speak).. whereas you do not.
