Don't get me wrong, I love just some plain old vanilla.
But there's something for me about adding cookie dough/pie pieces to ice cream. It's transcendent really.
I absolutely LOVE going to Orange Leaf. In case you guys don't know, they are a self-serve frozen yogurt establishment.
Awesome flavors : red velvet, birthday cake, key lime, cheesecake.....mmmmm!!!
And then you can add in all the toppings you can add. They used to weigh your cup to determine the price, but I don't think they do that anymore. Anyway, mine used to always be ~1.3 lbs.
Yeah, you read that right. The only reason I wouldn't add more is because the cup size game is too weak.
Cold Stone and Marble Slab are great ice cream places too. They've got REAL ice cream, too, which is always great. Love the idea too. Folding ingredients into the ice cream?! How cool is that? Pun intended.
Gelato is fantastic too. Never had "Italian" gelato in that I've never been to Italy, but it's for sure on my list.
I just love ice cream.
