Yeah. The issue is really big and its becoming bigger. At some point it could do grave harm to the game since youngsters with any brains won't risk the game. I'm sure you saw the articles on Aaron Hernandez and the findings that he had a really severe case of CTE. If you haven't I can send one or two of them to you. IMO in order to save the game it will need proper coaching beginning at the youth level, proper rule management, proper referring, -and if at all possible the elimination of PEDs. These players are simply too big, too strong, and too fast even at the HS level. The collisions have gone way past what the equipment is designed to protect. A friend of mine is a neuro surgeon who played for Cal in the 70s. He loves the sport but did not allow his boys to play football-not even on a youth level.

It's a vicious brutal sport played by madmen The problem is we all love it. But I think that may be changing I know it is for me.
