Anybody watch the The Orville ?

The new Seth McFarlane TV show

pretty much a spoof of the original Star Trek show

It wasn't actually to bad .....................wasn't great , but wasn't bad either

pretty simple plot for a first episode , had some typical Seth McFarlane one liners that had me cracking up

some of the supporting cast seemed a little generic , but to their defense , they didn't really have much to do in this first episode and hopefully they get a little more interesting in later episodes

looking forward to future episodes

I have to say , it kind of reminded me of those old lite hearted TV sitcoms of the last 60's , early 70's ,that I grew up with , like Get Smart

The CGI was actually pretty good , looks like FOX actually put a little bit of money into this show , at least the pilot episode anyways
