I thought Granderson was wholly unnecessary. Darvish was a knee-jerk reaction to Kershaw's injury. Still think he could straighten out. But he was brought in as insurance.
It's just unbelievable to me that 100 wins is not even a sure thing now. On Aug. 22nd at 89-35 the thought they'd win any less than 108
at worst was unthinkable. Lost 17 of 20 from there... I suppose at the end of the day if they hold onto home field throughout they're still the favorites. We'll see. If they can win 104 or so (winning 12 of final 18) I'll start to think maybe they've pulled out of it.
