Who here has an iPad?

I am so T'd off...

I only bought an iPad to download gopro videos onto while on vacation for two reasons: so I could view the videos on a larger screen than the gopro LCD and so the video would be saved in two places - in case the camera flooded, or something..

So, right before Guadalupe Island, I upgraded the OS to whatever the current OS is.. Big mistake.. The current OS does not support mp4's (gopro video files) so now I can't only NOT watch them on iPad, I can't even back the files up on iPad because they don't even show up to transfer off the SD card... My iPad is now a paperweight..

WTH? I rendered my iPad useless by installing the current OS.. Anybody have a work around or solution for this garbage? A guy on the boar said to download the VLC video player for iPad.. I use VLC on my home computer, but the app I downloaded for iPad still won't play mp4's or even acknowledge them...
