Relishing in the misfortune of others.. (Grandson stuff)...

Game 2 tonight... last week was a loss... BUT... a loss to one of the top rated Div. 4 teams in our league.. and we dominated the game. We lost on an extra point kick attempt in which the snap was muffed... scramble ensued... Selma got the ball and tossed a completion to a 'very alert' Selma WR who got open in the corner for 2pts.... the kick would have tied it.

Tonight.. HEAT... extreme temps are expected. Maybe 100 at 8pm kickoff. And starting at WR for Kerman? My grandson.

Our #1 WR missed a 5:30am practice this week, (early to beat the heat).... then another WR missed practice the following day... and also a starting DB. When the #1 missed practice my grandson got the nod for 1 quarter, (#1's penalty for missing practice)... when the 2nd WR missed the following day my grandson got the nod for the 'game'. (to note: he was in the running to be a starting WR to begin with). When the DB missed practice my grandson got bumped up to starting DB as well. From backup QB to starter, (not at Q. All brought about by the misfortune of others. Well... not really. Rules are rules.
