Most of them were reruns on the late show after the 10:00 news
which was normally past my bed time
But a few times a year , my Aunt and Uncle who lived in Minneapolis would come down and stay with us for those extended Holiday weekends , and he had kids my age as well , and plus we had another Aunt and Uncle who lived about 25 miles away who also had kids my age
And on those weekends , me , my brother and sisters would give up our bedrooms to the adults , and all us kids got to camp out in the living room , we had a large hide-a-bed sofa that some of us kids slept on , and the rest slept in sleeping bags on the floor ,
but these weekends were one of the few times we got to stay up past 10:00 and watch TV , and a few of those times , Jerry Lewis movies were on
The first time I ever saw the movies , It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World , The Great Race with Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis , and Those Magnificent Men And Their Flying Machines was also on one such long weekend camped out in the living room
