Congrats to ScRAM's grandson...

I just found out that Scott's grandson has not only been moved up to Varsity in his Sophomore year but he's STARTING Guard. That's no small achievement. I'm proud of him... and a little envious.

I have 6 grandson's... 4 play football. 1 Rugby. 1 doesn't play sports. When I coached, many many years, I had a special affinity for linemen... all the work, none of the glory. I admit it - I had hoped one of my grandson's became a lineman... but 'size' just doesn't run in my family. 1WR, 1QB (WR this year and backup Q, and 2 RB's...no linemen.

Here's to you, Scott... great speaking with you on the phone and LOVED the pride you have in your grandson. I want reports.
