My oldest grandson, Mason, got his #8. He's been #8 since he was 6, a Mighty Mite.
We didn't know if it was possible... there was a #8 on the team last year and he's still showing on the roster this year, even though he was listed last year as a J.C. Sophomore.
He had put in for #8, #88, and #83.
Gavin, his brother, had always been #10 - QB... but this year, as a Sophomore, he's moving up to Varsity and our staring QB wears #10... he doesn't know which number he's going to pick yet... but next year he'll probably go back to #10.
Ashton, a Youth Football Junior, wears #8
Elijah in his first year of tackle football chose #8.
