Oh man.. I do not envy you and your upcoming gig.. Over the years I have had a bazillion offers and requests to do outdoor shows.. But in the blazing Texas heat there is no way, no how that I'm even thinking about doing it.. I see other bands sign up and instantly regret it the second they hit the stage.. I talk to them a week later and hear stories of them sitting under a cold shower with all their clothes on for two hours after the show.. I learn from other people's mistakes..

So, I don't envy you at all.. Please stay hydrated and try to talk other people into loading your stuff.. Fake a heat stroke, or something.. Good luck - here's hoping you'll do at least a short gig review..
