to retrieve a lost item in a lake this week.. the other guy lost a ladder in 20 feet of water with zero visibility.. I'm not a fan of zero visibility, so doubt i do that, even tho 20 feet deep is barely getting wet..
No, I get ya regarding the reef in the vids.. I haven't gone out of my way to specifically look for reef stuff in my vids, cuz I'm always concerned with whatever in the vid can kill me, but will keep an eye out.. In Belize, most of the diving we've done has steep drop offs.. you'll be at 60-70 feet deep hugging the floor and then there's like a ledge that drops to 500 feet..
Its really pretty cool to be floating a foot or two off the floor, then go over the edge and still be floating at the same depth, but now with 500 feel of open ocean underneath you.. I'm sure I've shot that perspective a few times, but video doesn't do it justice.. If I get a chance I'll try to string together a couple of reef/dropoff vids together...
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
