from wha tI've read, the females are at Guadalupe in Sept/Oct, but themeless congregate there earlier in August in large numbers.. I've read a couple of interviews with the boat captain and he states August is his favorite time of year to go to Guadalupe because there are numerous males hanging out.. he stated one time there were 6 males interacting wit them the entire time.. So, hopefully we'll be good there.. There weren't any slot open for the Sept/Oct trips, cuz the females are so much larger and much more in demand..
Several of the shows this week on Shark Week were about Guadalupe being crowded with sharks this year, so hopefully that's what we see in August.. There will be, I think, 3 people in each cage.. they have a stacked type cage with one person in a section on top and then wo in a larger section underneath - I think.. So, depending upon how cool your cell mate is, should be able to get all the shots..
I agree with you as far as feeding the sharks.. they claim they don't chum, but they do feed them.. and, yeah, that can definitely pose problems with humans down the road..
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
