YES!!!

When the Stukas did a dive bomb run, it was waaaaay over the top loud and dialog was OFTEN hard as hell to hear, even in "quiet" situations. That IS the norm with Hollywood in recent years.

Go back to "The Longest Day"....You had intense action scenes, English accents, American accents and even German being spoken and the ENTIRE 3+ hour movie was crisp and clear.
