There is plenty I'm sure I could find to gripe about , not a fan of the high tech spidey suit that Iron Man gives him , they completely ignore Spider-man's spidersense , which is a huge part of what makes him Spider-man , but none of the movies have really ever explained it or featured it much
A lot of the gripes I had before I saw the film actually went away as I was watching the film
They totally changed up Peters cast of friends , like when they cast a 5'8' Guatemalan / Italian boy to play Flash Thompson , a 6'2" white sports jock , I was like WTF , but as I was watching the film , he actually became like my favorite side character , I thought he was great
or why they made Betty Brant look exactly like Gwen Stacy , but I did like how they had her as the schools TV news reporter
It was pretty clear they were blending Amazing Spider-man with Ultimate Spider-man
But with this film , it wasn't the big action scenes that impressed me , but all the little things
One simple scene that I just loved that a lot of people won't even give a second thought , was at the beginning of the film where Peter Parker was walking down the school hallway trying to get to his locker , there were no big bully's trying to trip him , or knock his books out of his hands , or tape some kind of kick me sign to his back , because we've all seen those scenes a million time , but this time , it was just Peter Parker walking down the hallway through a crowd of kids , and just simply being ignored , this one scene lasts like maybe 20 seconds , but I thought that scene was just brilliant
And the film is just full of "simple" little scene's like that
When I used to read Spider-man comics I always enjoyed the Peter Parker stuff just as much as I did the Spider-man stuff , which this film brought me back to and this movie is ALOT of Peter Parker , it was a great origin story , without actually being an origin story

I never did write it to Spider-man , but I did always read the letters on the back pages , so that would be like really cool , I'm sure you've kept that issue
also always liked looking at all the cool stuff you could earn if you sold 20 boxes of greeting cards...............lol
