Well the articles are about a unique way the new CEO/owner structured Sears.
Are you saying all the other dept. stores have the same internal structure with different units set up as individual businesses that compete? Because the articles claim that particular structure made the problems worse.
I get that all of retail is facing issues with declining sales and such, but, are they all structured that way, the way Sears did it?
