Or not so much a recommendation but rather simply an honest appraisal based on quite a bit of experience with this company:
B&H Photo, out of NY, I believe. For the last several years I have made many purchases from them... excellent service, customer support, IMHO. BTW.. it's mostly 'electronic gear'... cameras, camcorders, computers, TV's... etc.
I have had to return only one item... NOTHING wrong with the item, it just wasn't what i wanted, (my mistake when ordering)... and the return went as smoothly as is possible. No problems at all.
Couple items tested my tech intellect... 'chat' with support was easy, agent was very patient, problems were solved.
Prices: Not always the 'cheapest' but always in the ballpark. I do not mind paying a little extra, (when it happens), to deal with what I consider a very reputable company.
What I have NOT had to deal with so I can't recommend or not recommend... hopefully someone here has some experience... SQUARE TRADE PROTECTION PLANS... I haven't done the research... seems odd to me, somewhat, since all products have a warranty to begin with... not sure what 'extra' they cover or if it's worth it.
