But it's more than light not speeding up or slowing down... which is true but.. that leads to 'time', and I'm trying to understand the ramifications of what that means. Wait... I KNOW I'll never understand... I'm just trying to take one baby step forward. Most physicists, perhaps all of them, will admit they do not truly 'understand' this stuff either BUT.. they know mathematics... and in mathematics they can 'see' it... so to speak. I know very little about math. I've even forgotten algebra 1A.
Every few years I'll get 'in the mood' for the theory of physics and will buy a book or two and then stumble my way through them. I can maintain this for a month, or two, then I have to take a year or two off to regain my sanity.
Interestingly enough I'm not currently 'in the mood'.. the original post I made stemmed from an article I happen to read recently but I'm not currently reading about astrophysics.
