I watched it this morning on YouTube.
Kinda went the way I expected, except the early rounds were definitely McGregor; really surprised by the judge's scorecards for the first three rounds.
It was like one of the commentators said: a puncher vs. a boxer.
McGregor got winded after round 4, and Mayweather just dissected him from there on out.
One note: McGregor has to get better in his conditioning. He admitted as much, but that is definitely something he needs to work on, which is strange to say cuz he looks in phenomenal shape.
Having said that, McGregor could be a boxer if he really wanted to. He's known for his stand up fighting and heavy hands in the UFC. He's got the instincts.
He'd make more money in a boxing career, but I think he enjoys the UFC arena too much.
Also, I know pretty much everyone and their brother dislikes Mayweather, but you HAVE to respect the guy as an athlete and boxer. Even at 40, he STILL looked like he was in prime condition. A little rusty, but he's been out of boxing for two years. I don't condone what he's done in his personal life by any stretch, but I've got mad respect for the guy as a professional athlete.
