Rock Band was different for me..

in being a musician.. Mind you, I never play guitar in Rock Band, only drums.. It was kinda cool, for me, because in playing drums you actually hafta play the beat and on Expert level, you're doing a whole lot of what a real drummer has to do, albeit on a goofy little drum setup that's nowhere near "real".. So, it was cool - and a challenge - for me to play drums on a lot of tunes I like..

Now, I just hired an old friend from the 80's to paint my kitchen cabinets.. He's a really good singer named Jimi (or Jimmy) Mancille who has lived in Austin fro 25 years and was in a band called Spinning Chain.. During our lengthy conversations, while he was doing our cabinets, he told me Spinning Chain had a song on Rock Band called End Of My Rope.. I don't remember it, but need to crank up Rock Band again to check..

I did find it on youtube, but no video, just music.. Anyways, he did my kitchen cabinets last week lol
