GPS will someday make me lose it...

We use it every time we go to Dallas.. GPS always alerts us to traffic jams and accidents and whatnot and always has alternate routes that will supposedly save tons of time.. 9 times out of 10, tho, their alternate route is to get on the service road, which is the same idea 4000 other people's GPS's have suggested at the same time.. So, usually the service roads are jam packed, as well..

What I do is pick out a specific car on the highway that was in front of us or behind us, and then keep an eye on it to determine if we actually are saving any time.. I'd say 95% of the time the car I'm watching either is ahead of us or within 2-3 cars behind us whenever we're told to get back on the highway.. Thanks GPS...!
