wasp issue

I have them everywhere. I can easily get the nests in the eaves, but I have this upside down decorative pot with holes in the sides.
They are going on there and Im sure there is a huge nest in there as its been a few months. I went to spray into the holes and the can was empty and just made them angry.

Luckily Im a quick little bugger. Im thinking about turning it over at night....but I'm pretty stupid. Any advice?
