Tulare was there, that is. I haven't seen the schedule for this year so I don't know.
And yes, Tulare's reputation has spread across the valley. They are feared.
7 on 7 can surprise you. You can be amazed at how 'no offensive line' and no 'running threat' can make a valley championship contender into just another team in 7 on 7... and vice versa... a team that can't compete in a complete football game can be quite strong in 7 on 7 competition.
I can't sugar coat it, Greg... it's going to be a tough go for Gavin. The good, I hope anyway, is that he's aware of that. And the coaches have been very supportive... putting him at ease, they know it's a lot of pressure for a sophomore and they're fine with him simply doing his best... however that turns out.
Our starting QB, btw, name of Sean Chambers... I hear is getting quite a look by several Div. 1 colleges... pretty sure you're going to be hearing a lot more about him. - JamesJM
