Glory Days... once a Lion, always a Lion

A couple ex-Lions joined this year's graduating Lions for this photo op. All but one of the players in this photo are continuing their football careers. The tall kid standing will be a senior in HS next year, he's received an offer from Rutgers. He was held back a year in grade school so he's actually older than my grandson.

The short kid in the pink shirt, that's Mario. He's been that height since he was a Pee Wee in youth football.. he was the 'giant' on the team in those days. He's Reggie Bush, greased lightening. The two kids, left and right, of Mario will be playing against my grandson (sitting on the ground) this coming year... college rivals.

Couldn't help thinking about my old team, the Tigers. I'm in contact with none of them these days except through Facebook.
