There was a mile long stretch nearly as straight as an arrow... slight bow to it. My entire life I 'daydreamed' about rowing on that stretch of river. The water, for the most of the year, was dead still... smooth as glass.
When my son was born I 'daydreamed' about buying him a boat, (shell), and putting him into training. Didn't.
When my grandson's were born I had the same daydream... and again, didn't.
I know it would have never caught on with them. Knew it at the time, but I still daydreamed about it.
Bought the book, Kindle Edition... started reading it last night. - JamesJM
