I was listening to the post game show on the radio and Ned Colletti (I think) was saying the Utley to keep sharp needs to play everyday and that is true as a player ages. They lost a crucial DP last night due to a weak throw from Utley to FB. His swing-no where what it used to be-needs repetition every day to be of some help. Pinch hitting at his age won't help much.
I like Chris Tayor-maybe he can play 2d while the starter recovers.
Not sure what to do about Gonzales. He's a classy guy and a leader. How do you convince him its better for the team if he sits down?
I suppose this is what keeps GMs awake at night.
