Here's two pics from that meeting in Dallas.. I think I've mentioned that Vinnie was going to pick up the tiger striped Jackson Randy Rhoads guitar in Dallas - he was playing it when we walked in and met him.. Then talked him into letting me buy that guitar.. So, here's a pic of him and me and Tim Stunson, my bass player at the time who got ALL the chicks in our band and went on to play with Blackfoot.. He's the good looking guy on the left, Vinnie's in the middle, I'm on the right.. ...and another pic of Vinnie holding up my guitar with a couple of guys who worked there.. I also added a pic of me playing the guitar in 2008 - I don't play it much anymore because I wear so much jewelry onstage I just tear it to shreds, so its been relegated to backup guitar status, so I only play it in emergencies..
Anyways, Vinnie looks like a freakin' carp.. and you would not believe how many model looking girls were hanging all over him wanting to go back to the hotel with him..
Thanks for posting, that is killer and yeah Vinnie looks like a carp. ugh.
Blackfoot has, to me, one of the greatest song intros with Train Train I love that harmonica then into the geetar (guitar)....wikipedia has your bassist Tim Stunson playing with Blackfoot from 1992–1996, Heck he made the big time. hahaha.
