You may not be an "expert" but orthopedic surgeons who deal with athletes are. To a person they believe that it simply is too dangerous for children -mainly pitchers-to throw a baseball every day all year. And it is critical they not begin to try throwing "curve balls" until well into high school. The general recommendation for kids who want to play sports is to not focus on one sport but play all sports throughout the year. I have yet to find an orthopedist or any therapist in sports medicine to disagree.
