I'm not sure how well it's going to work for them this year, though, as the bullpen is not quite up to snuff like it was the past couple of years.

It's an interesting idea though.

I think they could still find metrics and such to base contracts off of.

Might be a little hairy in the beginning, but most new things have some hiccups starting out.
