i moved and turned up my center speaker

February 28, 2017 06:55PM
I moved my center channel speaker on my surround sound to basically right in front of me. And turned it's volume up to 12. While also dialing back on the other speakers.

So I no longer get the effect of surround sound but I can follow the movie.

And I speak mumble. My brother and I spoke it growing up.

I probably have some hearing loss and I definitely (hearing it very loud right now) tinnitus. I usually only notice it when I focus on it.

I've never understood how drummers don't ruin their ears. I have played with drummers who can drown out my amp and I am nearly deaf by the end of a few songs. I take it that it's quieter behind the drums.
