I've heard it thousands of times and still love the hell out of it. Not all of it, the middle part of the studio version is off putting a bit. But the rest of it just moves me. And its just the music from the studio version, the recording and production is all part of it... and the vocals... the words are meaningless to me... its the sound, ... the entirety of the sound. I like the live versions that I've heard for different reasons but its the studio version that I love...
There are a bunch tied for second and third from most genres.
I think Beethoven's 9th symphony is the greatest music I have ever heard. And if I had to take one piece of music with me to a deserted island, that would be the pick. But for the last 25 years or more Whole Lotta Love has been my unwavering favorite song.
They were awesome. Robert Plant had freakish range and power. And I love that Zep held tight to the Blues, as they revolutionized Rock. Can't think of a favorite from them, cuz I love too many of their songs. But pretty much everything from their first two albums.
This one is right up there near the top for me. Different version, but a cool video.
