not too fond of Grodin in his part, (although I like Grodin)... but the movie, as a whole, I thought very good.
The latest one... to my knowledge anyway, talking about the Jack Black one - I didn't care for very much. Especially Jack Black... he's not an actor.. he's a one trick pony. Good trick.. I mean I have laughed at Jack, but he's no actor. And I didn't think the movie was 'horrible'... not even the acting... I thought Naomi did quite well... sort of took Fay Wray's depiction and added to it while sticking with the heart of the character.
Synapsis... they did ok in the remakes... all three... the 1st the best, the 2nd pretty darned good as well.. the 3rd ok but uncalled for but in saying that I agree with you.. no remakes were called for. - JamesJM
