Snare drum in the bedroom, huh?

Im sure that went over well, but I can't say anything because I have at least 6 guitars in our master bedroom right now.. Hey, these women knew what they were getting into when they married us, right?

That's great that you're adapting your sound and style and stuff to where you are in life.. I haven't been able to do that in life, just yet, and the result is in a two level disc fusion lol

While speed and technical ability are always something every musician wants to either master, or at least tinker with, it really boils down to, as you said, what notes you are hitting and how good they sound together.. Thats really the bottom line.. I remember helping previous drummers tune their toms to notes I'd play for them on guitar, but most drummers would tune the drums to themselves, not notes.. I always liked the idea of tuning to notes, tho - seemed like the band would be better "in tune" as a whole..

I haven't picked up a guitar since surgery yet.. Technically I'm not allowed to as I'm still not supposed to pick up anything over 10 pounds.. I'm kind of enjoying the break right now, tho, but I know I gotta get back on the horse.. Many, I know our styles are as different as night and day, but I really think you'd be a hoot to jam with - just because we've known each other so long and talked music so much for so long.. One of these days....
