Going to have a very good Sunday...

A very old friend of mine who attended drama study with me in college, (60's), kept acting, play-writing, directing, and teaching dramatic arts his entire life. He wrote a play a long time ago about the area around Coalinga, Ca... where we went to college. He has done a re-write and last weekend it opened at Modesto J.C.

So Sunday, another friend of mine in that same drama department in Coalinga and I are headed to Modesto to watch the play. I mentioned him a few years ago when we met at the Dante Club in Fresno for a crab dinner. And that's not all...

One of the ladies who was also with us in college, (my first stage kiss), is going to join us. I have not seen her since 1969. And possibly one other lady if she can make it. A reunion, of sorts. We'll take in the play, meet with Mike (writer and director) after the play, then have dinner together somewhere in Modesto.

I'm not the least ashamed to admit that I'm excited about the reunion. They say you can't go back... I've never really believe that... Sunday I will.
