Even in today's game, not close, the game had a plethora of excitement... plays at the plate, home runs, steals, you name it.
Earlier I said I'd 'probably' pull for the Cubs... I think that's still true, but I don't really care, actually.
Funny thing for me is this: And you 'true' fans can shoot this down if I'm off base here... I get the 'feel' that this is every bit as 'make or break', emotionally, for the Dodgers as it is for the Cubs... despite the 1908 thing. There seems to be an 'old school revival' type of 'franchise' thing at stake here with the Dodgers. I'm caught up in it... and it 'feels'....
like a throwback to 'yesteryear', this NLCS. Or.. I'm perhaps just reading too much into it. - JamesJM
