If the Dodgers win tonight does he try close it all out Thurs with Kershaw and chance he won't have him in Chicago if he loses?
If the Dodgers lose tonight they are forced to return to Chicago no matter what happens Thursday. Assuming Chicago wins tonight the series is tied and do you use Kershaw to try and win Thursday knowing there are still games in Chicago to be played?
IMO the only way Kershaw pitches in game 5 is if they win tonight-and then its still a big if for me.
Here's my opinion as to what will happen: Dodgers win tonight and Roberts goes for the kill shot with Kershaw on Thursday. He's too tired and the Cubs win and go back to Chicago. Kershaw is spent and the Cubs win the last two. AND then Roberts is subject to criticism for not saving Kershaw for one of the two games in Chicago.
