for a brunch engagement (gee did that sound as lame to you as it did me?) so I'll hafta watch it when we get home.. I did want to mention in the 80's I split my live stage signal into to signals and ran to two different amps that had distinctive tones.. The sound guy, who traveled with us was, of course, totally tuned into what we were doing, knowing every song as well as we did and making adjustment and adding effects as needed.. He loved that setup because he could boost through he PA whichever amp sounded better for whatever application or song we were doing.. Most of the time he had one amp boosted for the rhythm parts (like during an intro, verse, or chorus, and then would boost the other amp for solos or those little "fills" that guitarists throw in, at the end of verses or whatnot.. I think May is probably talking about combining the amps so that chorus effect, for example, would go sway between both amps, kind of ping ponging back and forth.. I'll get back with ya later..
