but here in the central valley I'm convinced that most, that's MOST, baseball fans root for a team to lose a lot more than they root for their team to win.
The big 'post' being made after the loss is how long it's been since the Dodgers have won the WS. Dodger fans are no different, in their own way. That's one vicious rivalry in this part of the country. IOW... it's not over for Giant fans because they're out of it because now comes the important part for them... rooting for the Dodgers to lose.
BTW... a long time ago I posted this... and it gives Dodger and Giant fans the trots..... I like both teams.
I lean Giants these days because one of my grandson's likes them.. the other grandson's don't really like baseball. Also, I met Willie May and W. McCovey here near my home town once, spent about a half a day with them. BUT - I liked the Dodgers a lot when Cey, Yeager, Garvey, Lopes, were playing. Never got over it.
