wow!! I texted my buddy between the top and bottom of the seventh and told him, here comes the lefty. I was SHOCKED to see Sherzer back out there to face Joc. Joc had something like NINE hits and batted .125 against lefties for the year. Not sure if you guys see it the same way, but just giving Joc a chance against a righty in that situation was baffling to me. And Baker did the same thing last game, leaving a righty in the game against multiple left handers who just don't hit lefties. Still a Clutch HR by Joc, and then more clutch hits by chooch and JT.
Dave Roberts has to absolutely be manager of the year. He has done the best job managing a team I've ever seen, and yesterday's game was very fitting. It was yet another bullpen game, that advanced us...GREAT WIN!!
