But just cleaning the one side and smoothing the edge makes the blade last and last. I use the same razors that you do and pop the top back when rinsing it, that's about all you can do for the backside of the blades.
If you shave 3 days a week you could get months out of one blade.
When I first started doing it I wasn't sure how it would go and I was amazed how it kept giving me a close and comfy shave. The drag you get when a blade has nothing left never appeared I only used a new blade because I had a few days worth of stubble. I wish I hadn't because I want to see how long I can go on one razor. Some people supposedly have used the same blade for half a year, I'm not sure if that's true but like I said in the other post I used it for 3 months and I wasn't the only one so maybe I could get 6 months.
This is the item I was originally looking into buying. But at this point why bother I guess. There are other products like it, including one that it leather like the old strops.
