Unbelievable to give this guy an open playoff roster tryout tonight while playing for home field in the first round and with a chance to dash the playoff hopes of the Giants. I wonder if this came from the boy wonder, as this was one of his first (awful) signings. He was an average, oft injured pitcher before you signed him, and 36 million dollars later he is still oft injured, and probably below average now.
I guess on the bright side, he officially didn't make the roster.....
BTW, this was one of my favorite Dodgers seasons of all time, and I think they have a real chance.....BUT, tonight I was as frustrated as I've been in a long time, watching them run this guy out there, with absolutely know one warming up behind him, to boot, single handedly leading to a huge Giant celebration. Is any other Dodger fan as puzzled by this as me? Did this guy even really deserve a chance to try for the playoff roster?
