Not having seen the movie as yet...

You're comments go hand in hand with a couple of 'interviews' I've heard that discussed the movie. More than a couple, actually - and all said the same thing - that the NTSB was exaggerated into a 'hollywood villain ' for dramatic effect. If true, and I believe it is, it disturbs me.

However, I can usually overlook that type of hyperbole if the heart of the story is basically 'to point' and the movie is well made... which is what I heard did happen. Almost perfectly in sync with your comments.
