First thing that happened: a couple sitting behind us decided to move two rows in front of us.. the chick had her hair pulled up super high on top of her head - while sitting the top of her head was almost a foot taller than her boyfriends, so that even two rows in front of us she was blocking our view - mostly my wife's, but some of mine, as well.. Really?
Thought the movie was good.. I was sort of put off by the almost vindictive attitudes of the NTSB guys portrayed by Hollywood.. Even tho in interviews Sully states he felt tremendous pressure by the investigation, I didn't feel their attitudes were necessary to the success of the film.. But I guess these days of "reality TV" you gotta inject any kind of drama and friction possible..
I thought Hanks did a great job and overall, I liked the movie..
During the investigation at the end of the movie, I heard thunder.. then I heard heavy rain.. I think everyone in the theater was so involved with the movie that they didn't hear it.. When we left it was pouring so hard you could barely see the road and the roads were starting to flood.. We got home and watched the yards start to flood and got pretty worried about the house flooding, which came close, but never did.. In 2-3 hours we got 5.6" of rain... when it rains, it pours!
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
