1949 "Super Bowl"

Didn't want to take up space on the football side of the HERD-which is still pondering the disaster in Seattle-ad nauseam.

This was the game I've referenced before where I sat -along with my mom-on the Eagle side of the Coliseum in a driving rain as a 10 yr old fan-sipping bourbon from my mom's flask to stay warm.

Waterfield couldn't get anything going and the Eagle HOF back VanBuren just ran and ran in the mud beating the Rams 14-0.
